Using bookshop.lol
Is there any difference between shopping from bookshop.lol, and shopping from a participating bookshop’s own online store?
bookshop.lol brings Singapore’s independent online bookshops together for the first time, on one platform. Instead of placing multiple orders across multiple websites, you can now conveniently browse and shop from your favourite local bookshops, in one place!
bookshop.lol takes prices of books from each bookshop’s website. The exception is if bookshops run their own discounts, with promo codes — as these can’t be applied on bookshop.lol — in which case, do purchase directly from these bookshops.
Bookshops may decide to exclude certain titles from bookshop.lol.
Can bookshop.lol include more bookshops?

Shipping & Returns
How much is delivery?
S$5.90/order, free delivery for orders above S$150! This is regardless of how many bookshops, you order from.
How does delivery work?
An order can include books stocked by different bookshops. Once an order is placed, bookshops involved will handle fulfilment separately. This can mean — if you’re ordering books across multiple bookshops — you’d receive your books in separate parcels, at different times depending on each bookshop’s schedule, which we’d update you through emails from bookshop.lol.
Where can bookshop.lol ship to?
At present, delivery is islandwide, within Singapore. We don’t ship overseas for now.
When can I expect to receive my order?
Orders, across bookshops, are packed and shipped within 2 to 7 business days, on a next-day delivery service. Business days are Mondays through Fridays, excluding Public Holidays.
When can I expect to receive books on preorder?
By default, books on preorder should take 6 to 8 weeks to fulfil. When necessary, relevant bookshops will get in touch with you!
Can I self-collect / pick up my order from bookshops I’m ordering from?
Not for now, unfortunately. bookshop.lol’s present infrastructure can only support delivery.
If you prefer to self-collect, please order directly from these bookshops — if they do offer the option to self-collect — through their own websites.
Can I exchange / return / refund my order?
What if I change my mind after placing an order on bookshop.lol?
If you email support@bookshop.lol within 24 hours of placing your order, and if your order hasn’t been shipped out, we’ll send you a bookshop.lol Gift Card of equivalent value. Please do understand this isn’t possible after 24 hours from placing your order.
What can I do if I encounter an issue with my order?
Please contact support@bookshop.lol, for assistance! We’d then loop in bookshops involved in your order so they can directly resolve your issue.
Can I return books in my order?
Unless specified otherwise, on a case-by-case basis, we do not accept returns. If you encounter an issue with your order, please contact us at support@bookshop.lol.
