When Nick Johnstone got drunk for the first time he discovered a cure for the depression and anxiety that had been humming in his head since childhood. Over the next ten years he drank for a variety of different reasons. He also began to cut himself and lie. He could not understand where his disorders came from, and neither could his countless doctors, psychiatrists and therapists. When he was 24, Nick was admitted into hospital. There he painfully began the process of recovery, and though love proved to be the strongest cure of all, this story does not end with all the loose ends tied up.
