Ellie Belly #10: A Prickly Predicament

The long-awaited sequel to the Ellie Belly series is finally here. It’s upsized with bonus diary stories and fun content. Ellie is in a predicament when she and Gabby encounter a little injured hedgehog during a trip to the market. The sisters decide to bring it home, but they can't tell their mother, who has banned more animals in the house. Since hedgehogs are not usually found in Singapore, Ellie faces a dilemma about what to do if she cannot release him into the wild. She also wonders if she is a criminal for keeping the hedgehog. Eliza Teoh is a Singapore Press Holding Scholar who previously worked as a journalist covering politics and foreign affairs, then as an executive sub-editor at Today newspaper. She left her journalism career to become an author of children's books, inspired by her daughter Ellie, who is the character in the series.
